One issue that surely breaks a marriage down is , when one partner puts the other down . It can be one sided or they can be doing it to each other. Either way it causes problems. When you criticise, your mate will start to build walls of protection. These walls were never meant to be just as the criticisms were never meant to be in a marriage.
Criticism is never to take the place of, an honest & open discussion. Criticism is truly a lack of respect and sensitivity. Self-centeredness is the root of the problem.
God in Heaven make us sensitive to our mates feelings. Forgive us for being so self-centered that all I care about is me. You gave your ALL for your love. Help us to be able to do likewise and give our all for our love. IN JESUS NAME
